When I tore a hole in my old sneakers, I contemplated getting a new embroidered pair of Converse to replace them. I ended up buying a plain pair to decorate myself because I only wanted one shoe to be decorated instead of both. This way, my shoes would be unique and I could have full creative control.
I sketched some animal characters to decide on a design and free-handed some simple flowers as well. The canvas, especially near the heel, was very thick and it made the process pretty painful but I am satisfied with how they turned out. This is currently my most-worn pair of shoes 🙂
